A mobile domain name could make you very, very rich

Do you own a mobile domain name like movies.mobi or something of that sort? Congrats my dear friend; you’re about to become richer by at least $100,000. Surprised? Well; save your surprise for the news item below.

The fact that mobile marketing and advertising industry is about to have a huge growth is known to all and sundry and I don’t want to stress on that any more. Instead, I’m going to present you with some facts which will speak for themselves. Sedo.com recently auctioned a domain name for more than $600,000. The news is of great interest to me, because the domain name is a dot mobi domain name, which is meant exclusively for mobile phones. Music.mobi is the case in point here. You get the drift?

Gone are the days when a dot com domain name was considered the best seller. Well; make way for dot mobi domain names, the recent best seller in the market. The market has prepared itself for the phenomenon that is mobile phone advertising and marketing and the aforementioned fact proves it beyond doubt. What? Did I hear someone raise a doubt? Well; let me give you some more examples that even skeptics like you can understand it clearly.

Traffic.mobi is worth $36,000, kiss.mobi is worth $23,000, flights.mobi is worth $22,000, and so on. Generic dot mobi domain names are worth their weight in gold and if you have one, consider yourself lucky. As the market is growing at a very fast pace, these rates can only get bigger and bigger. Soon, we’ll see people auctioning the dot mobi domain names they own and becoming richer by hundreds of thousands of dollars overnight. If you happen to own one and are about to sell it after reading this news, don’t forget to buy me a beer. After all, the messenger needs to get something; right?

I’ve only got one dot mobi, Amog.mobi, a really good generic name would be cool, but they were all gone pretty fast.

I love the fact that the geezer who is buying the main dot mobis up has a free blogspot blog!

:D
