Rapid Mobile Media, the famous mobile phone advertising and betting software maker, has got ₤2 Million from US based venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates. Founded in 2004, Rapid Mobile has made surprising progress and has joined the long list of companies that have made it big in the field of mobile advertising.
Rapid Mobile is famous for being the first company to introduce third-generation-type interactive gambling in mobile phones. In 2006, the company was in news for selling Mobet, its very famous online betting software, to an online betting firm called Betfair.
Dr. Richard Marshall of Rapid Mobile was happy with the funds they’ve got and said that the amount will be used for the commercial deployment of its ambitious Ad360 mobile advertising platform.
