I know I’ve said this already, but I can’t help but point to this growing pattern in the mobile advertising industry which I think is great.
A small, yet-to-get-noted mobile advertising firm is helping giants in the market reach their target customers via the mobile phone. BrandinHand, a mobile phone advertising and marketing agency, has some big names in its clientele. Procter & Gamble, American Express, and Lionsgate Films are some of its clients. The firm’s total billing comes around $5 million, which is really good for this small a firm.
Mobile advertising is one of those industries where you can succeed if you have the right idea. You don’t need money, you don’t need fame, you don’t need years and years of experience behind you, and most importantly, you don’t even need brand equity. If you have an idea, a concept, which is bound to get results, you can be well on your way to become successful. A lot of these mobile advertising firms were started on very small capital and went on to become successful thanks to VC funding. With proper funding, you can always develop your core competency and expand your company, with which you’ll get big clients, which was the case with BrandinHand.
