TiECON to go completely mobile

The Indus Entrepreneurs Group Conference (TiECON), an annual conference for entrepreneurs, has been in the news of late. It’s a popular event and attracts many an entrepreneur in the town, but it’s been in the news for another reason. For the first time, the participants will ask their questions and raise their points via text messages.

That’s right, you heard it right. MobileVerbs Inc., a mobile marketing platform provider, has come up with a platform for TiECON wherein the participants will be able to contact the panel moderator through text messages. No more microphones, no more ‘waiting for your turns’, and no more chaos.

The attendees will also be able to receive the agenda for meetings, breaking news, and other content related to the event directly on their mobile phone in real time. This, according to TiECON organizers, can save a lot of time and make the whole process a whole lot simpler. They say that they are impressed with the idea of a mobile phone based conference as it ensures privacy among attendees and makes it easier for them to contact moderators quickly.

Talk about mobile phone being a multifaceted device…
